  2. Very good video
  3. I remember reading this book when I was like 8 :)
  4. Harriet Beecher Stowe couldn't have recorded an audio book. Recording didn't exist in the 19th century.
  5. Excuse me sir, are you mental? Half of those are good things, and half of them don't make sense. Most of this comment was just spewing out words. If this was in the book, I dont care, I did not read it yet. But this just crosses every line ever put into effect for common decency. Laughable though, because you most likely live in a captalist country, in which case you just called yourself a greedy, drug lord, nazi. Also, In what way does capitalism creat ruthless communism? Just wondering.
  6. can i have it?, i will pay you in magic beans.
  7. thank you for posting these audio books. To those who think this is so boring, these books are historical as to the slave era in the southern US, and I hope that many read this, or listen to it. I read this book along time ago, plus bought the book at a library book sale. I do understand that history isn't for everyone, but, for those who do like history, this is an interesting book.
  8. A bunch of politically correct wussies whined their asses off, that's what happened to free speech.
  9. Can we talk about the book, bitches? Thanks!
  10. Why do cats be talkin about Uncle Tom like he's a bad thing to be? Hero is more like it.

  18. @HowardFair So true, the wealthy minority whites in the confederacy sabotaged their own economy through the practice of slavery. And the sad thing is, the confederacy leadership actually convinced poor whites that their economic woes were the caused by the union, but in fact it was the wealthy of the confederacy that were the real problem.
  19. @Bestmanme08 are you saying that made slavery OK? It did not, as I hope you know! Also, 300,000 whites came north to fight for the Union. The Confederacy was not supported by by a majority of whites. It was a minority who owned slaves who were trying to hold back progress. Slavery meant poverty for most whites because it meant fewer jobs for them. The Confederacy lost, and rightly so. Don't be be a loser by embracing the failed racism of centuries past.
