  1. wow, your cool.
  2. Thanks so much for this video! I've been asked to re-read this book before my exam and with all my revision I haven't really got time so this has filled in the gaps just before i go to bed and helped me to revise and read the book at the same time. Thanks so much! :D
  3. i wish you could do Snow White, because this is the FIRST audio book i ever listened to at home.
  4. T_T sorry but video suck
  5. This takes right back to when I was a child in the 60s & our English teacher,Miss Barry,(no 'Ms.' back then),would read to we kids,a couple of chapters of 'A Christmas Carol' each afternoon before school finished for the day,in the run up to Christmas. We'd sit in a semi-circle round her feet & look up at her awe as she read, emulating each character's voice.Thing of it was, throughout the rest of the year she a stern old biddy, but when she read to us it was like she was a wholly different person!
  6. How couldnt they sttuter at all while reading on,even if they are natives? I didnt get the sense that this audio file was edited.
  7. the movie is the same thing
  8. Thanks for the upload, it's really intresting listen to the original story rather than a film adaptation. The only thing I didn't like is that some of the voice actors were just reading the lines and not putting any effort in their reading.
  9. ikr
  10. Thank you for posting this. I love listening to awesome prose.
  11. so glad I found this channel! as someone with a bit of a learning disability, reading just doesn't do it for me! I need to hear it!
  12. The best reading ever!! It made my dyslexic and foreighn soul sing with excitement and enjoy Dickens as much as I would never be able otherwise!
  13. omg it is stave 1
  14. Who can give me a summary of stave 2? I have a test December 10, 2012!?!?
  15. This is very helpful and thank you! when I didn't want to read the book, I listened! ver helpful thank you!
  16. Scrooge's nephew sounds queer and whiny....definitely not what I'd imagine in a man married with a large family of his own.
  17. Marley's voice (Algy Pug) is soo.. umbearable!
  18. A fair effort. Thank you. If you guys do another audiobook, I'd push the emotional content up a notch. May your Christmas be most merry with no Bah!! nor Humbug!!
  19. Cool! Thanks! : )
  20. Ah but you haven't seen Arnold Schwarzenegger's version. Arnie is Scrooge, Ray Winston is Tiny Tim, John Claude Van Dam is Bob Cratchet. It has machine guns and stuff. It's awesome man, awesome!
